E-commerce module overview

The e-commerce module lets you manage product catalogs, categories, pricing, and orders within the same CMS that handles your content and SEO. No separate Shopify or WooCommerce instance required.

Managing products

Each product in Whoopix includes:

• Title & slug — SEO-friendly product URL
• Description — rich text with structured content blocks
• Images — multiple product images with alt text for SEO
• Pricing — regular price, sale price, and currency
• Inventory — stock count and availability status
• Category assignment — link to one or more product categories
• SEO panel — meta title, description, schema type (Product)
• Variants — size, color, and custom attribute options

Product schema (JSON-LD) generates automatically with price, availability, and image data for Google Shopping and rich results.

Product categories

Product categories work like content categories but with e-commerce-specific features:

Hierarchical product categories with SEO landing pages.

• Nested category trees with unlimited depth
• Category landing pages with custom content and metadata
• Faceted filtering on category archive pages
• Breadcrumb schema auto-generated from category hierarchy

E-commerce SEO

Product SEO in Whoopix goes beyond basic meta tags:

Orders & checkout

The order management module tracks customer purchases:

• Order list with status (pending, processing, shipped, completed)
• Customer details and shipping information
• Payment gateway integration (configurable per site)
• Order confirmation emails
• Export orders for fulfillment systems
