1. Who we are (data controller)
Whoopix (“Whoopix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), based in Tel Aviv, Israel, operates the website at https://www.whoopix.ai (the “Site”) and the Whoopix CMS platform. For personal data collected through this Site — including contact forms, demo or signup requests, and marketing communications — Whoopix acts as the data controller.
When a customer uses the Whoopix CMS to manage their own site content and end-user data, Whoopix typically acts as a processor (or service provider) on behalf of that customer, who remains the controller of that customer data. Processing in that capacity is governed by the customer agreement and any applicable Data Processing Addendum.

2. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal data in connection with:
- Visits to and use of the Site;
- Contact, demo, career, and other forms you submit;
- Account registration and signup flows for Whoopix services; and
- Marketing communications where you have opted in or where permitted by law.
It does not replace customer-specific privacy notices that a Whoopix client may publish on sites they operate using our CMS. Use of the Site is also subject to our Terms of Use.
3. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact and inquiry data — name, email address, company, phone number, subject, message content, and any other information you include in forms or emails.
- Account and CMS-related data — if you create an account or start signup, identifiers and credentials you provide (such as name, email, password, organization details, billing contact information, and plan selections). Platform usage metadata may also be generated when you use the CMS.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, browser type, device information, referring URLs, pages viewed, timestamps, and similar diagnostic or performance signals collected via server logs, cookies, and analytics tools.
- Marketing preferences — email address and communication preferences if you subscribe to updates, newsletters, or product announcements, including unsubscribe choices.
- Career data — if you apply for a role, information in your CV or application materials that you choose to send us.
We do not intentionally collect special-category (sensitive) personal data through the Site. Please do not submit sensitive information in open forms unless we specifically request it for a lawful purpose.
4. How we collect data
We collect personal data:
- Directly from you — when you fill out forms, email us, create an account, request a demo, or communicate with our team;
- Automatically — when you browse the Site, through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, and through standard server logs; and
- From service providers — for example hosting, email delivery, or analytics providers that process data on our behalf as described in this policy.
5. Purposes of processing
We use personal data to:
- Respond to inquiries, demo requests, and support messages;
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Site and Whoopix services (including AI-assisted and SEO-related product features where relevant to your use);
- Create and administer accounts, process signup, and manage customer relationships;
- Send service-related notices (for example security or account messages);
- Send product or marketing updates where you have consented or where otherwise permitted, with an easy way to opt out;
- Analyze Site performance and usage in aggregate to improve content and product decisions;
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where the EU/UK GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Consent — for optional analytics cookies (where required), marketing emails, and other processing that relies on your clear opt-in;
- Contract — to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or to perform a contract for Whoopix services;
- Legitimate interests — to operate and secure the Site, reply to business inquiries, improve our products, and understand aggregated usage, balanced against your rights; and
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data to comply with law.
Under Israeli privacy law, we process personal data for the purposes described in this policy, in accordance with applicable requirements and, where relevant, based on your consent, a contract with you or your organization, or other lawful grounds.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on the Site:
- Strictly necessary — required for security, language preference, session integrity (for example CSRF protection), and core Site functions;
- Analytics / performance — to understand how the Site is used and to improve it (enabled when configured); and
- Marketing / measurement — only if and when such tools are enabled on the Site.
You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or limit cookies). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect Site functionality. Where a consent mechanism is presented, you can also manage optional cookies there.
8. Sharing and processors
We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only as needed to operate our business, including with:
- Service providers (processors) — such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment, or infrastructure providers that process data on our instructions under appropriate contractual safeguards;
- Professional advisors — lawyers, accountants, or auditors under confidentiality obligations, when needed;
- Authorities — when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security; and
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
We do not list every subprocessors by name in this policy because providers may change as our infrastructure evolves. Upon request to hi@whoopix.ai, we can provide more detail about categories of processors relevant to your data.
9. International transfers
Whoopix is based in Israel. Personal data may be processed in Israel and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws in your country.
Where required (including under the GDPR for transfers from the EEA/UK), we use appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms — and take reasonable steps so that personal data remains protected.
10. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Typical practices include:
- Contact and demo submissions — generally up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete sooner or a longer retention is needed for an ongoing relationship or dispute;
- Account and customer records — for the life of the account/contract and a reasonable period afterward for billing, audit, and legal compliance;
- Marketing lists — until you unsubscribe or we determine the data is no longer needed; and
- Logs and security records — for shorter operational periods, or longer if needed to investigate incidents.
11. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, secure hosting practices, and staff awareness.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you believe your interaction with us has been compromised, contact hi@whoopix.ai promptly.
12. Your rights (Israel, GDPR, and similar laws)
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate data;
- Request deletion or restriction of processing;
- Object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- Receive a portable copy of data you provided (where the GDPR or similar law applies); and
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (without affecting prior lawful processing).
Under Israeli law, you may also have rights to review and correct personal data held in databases, subject to statutory exceptions. To exercise rights, email hi@whoopix.ai. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We aim to respond within 30 days, or sooner if required by law.
If you are in the EEA/UK, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In Israel, you may contact the Privacy Protection Authority regarding privacy concerns.
13. Children's privacy
The Site and Whoopix services are directed to businesses and professionals, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 (or a higher age where required by local law). If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact hi@whoopix.ai and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
14. Third-party links and services
The Site may link to or integrate with third-party websites and services (for example social networks, documentation hosts, or payment flows). Those parties have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or data handling. Review their policies before providing personal data to them.
15. Customer sites on the Whoopix CMS
If you visit or interact with a website operated by a Whoopix customer using our CMS, that customer is typically the controller of personal data collected on their site. Please refer to that customer's privacy notice. Whoopix processes such data on the customer's instructions under the applicable commercial terms and Data Processing Addendum, where one is in place.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Site or communicated by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acknowledgment of the updated policy.
